Description

ktnkenya.tv The anti- terrorism bill will be sent to parliament a second time, this is according to internal security minister George Saitoti who feels that this time round Kenyans will be more receptive to the bill given the recent attacks by Al Shabaab sympathizers. Saitoti is the second member of the executive to throw his weight behind the bill, on the basis that the current laws are not adequate to combat terrorism and charge terrorists, the anti terrorism bill was tabled in parliament 8 years ago however rejected by parliamentarians because of various contentious issues within the draft, the question is will it be enacted this time round.
