Description
On Friday, April 15 (assuming Mr. Drazan approves), WCHS will be hosting the first monthly Film Night. The movie being shown in April is: Beginning @ 7:00 p.m.: "It's Kind of a Funny Story," starring Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, and Emma Roberts ...In this New York City-set comedy-drama, 16-year-old Craig (Gilchrist), stressed out from the demands of being a teenager, checks himself into a mental health clinic. There, he learns that the youth ward is closed -- and finds himself stuck in the adult ward. One of the patients, Bobby (Galifianakis), soon becomes Craig's protégé and mentor. Craig is also drawn to another 16-year-old patient, Noelle (Roberts). With a minimum five days' stay imposed on him, Craig is sustained by friendships on both the inside and outside as he learns more about life, love, and the pressures of growing up. All of WCHS hopes you can attend this fundraiser. At this time, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00. The movie should let out sometime between 8:30 and 9. Tickets require a $5 donation to WCHS and can be found in all lunches, in the media center, on-hand of every member of WCHS, and at the door on the 15th. Concessions will be sold on the night of the event.
