John Mellencamp and Tom Petty are proof positive that you don't need to write complicated music to make great music. I'll be posting more Mellencamp in the next couple of weeks. If you tuned into this channel expecting me to devote my time to one genre of music, you will be sorely disappointed. I grew up listening to and enjoying everything from bubblegum music to heavy metal. Everything from ABBA to Zeppelin. My musical tastes have not changed, only the body has gotten older. It is beyond me that some people just can't comprehend that. As Sly Stone would say, "Different Strokes for different folks". My recommendation?
