Gardens By The Bay opened with a blast on 29 June 2012 with a concert by Grammy Award-winning singer Jason Mraz. US-based Singapore singer-songwriter Corrinne May performed on 30 July. The billion-dollar Gardens By The Bay was officially opened today by Prime Minster Lee Hsien Loong, the latest manifestation of Singapore's 'City in a Garden' vision. The 101-hectare site took five years to complete, with an ambition to become as iconic a green space as Central Park in New York City and Hyde Park to London. inSing.com caught up with the artistes at the concert's press conference.
