Description
John Woo gives us another taste of sweet historical action this November with his movie Red Cliff. Based on historical battles in the early days of China's Three Kingdoms war, as a warlord seeks to conquer all of China with the double-knockout combination of the Emperor's blessing and an army measuring one million troops strong. But it won't be a walkover, even with that kind of manpower as other factions stand against the seemingly implacable will of the Emperor. Check out the trailer. If that doesn't qualify for epic status I don't know what will. And it's also great to see John Woo still in the game. But is this going to be an action movie that no one understands?
