Rachel completed a Masters in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, UK. Born in Malta, she trained at Masquerade Theatre Arts School and privately under tuition of soprano Gillian Zammit. She forms part of successful classical-crossover group All Angels, originally signed with Decca, Universal, with whom she has performed across several theatres and arenas in the UK, including Wembley Stadium (Champions League Final - Opening Ceremony 2011), O2 arena, Manchester arena and the Royal Albert Hall. As part of the group, Rachel has been seen on BBC1's The One Show, Channel 4 feature on All Angels and at the 2011 Classic Brit Awards. Rachel has also performed with the group at such venues as the Leicester Square Theatre, House of Commons, Pontypridd Festival in Wales, Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Crete's capital Heraklion, Royal British Legion concert in Spain and UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles. Together, the group released an EP called 'Starlight'. Apart from the group, Rachel's theatre roles have included performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as the lead role in 'Persephone', the Henley Fringe Festival as the lead role in 'Make Believe' and the London Palladium in 'Me and My Girl'. She also featured as a guest soloist on musical UK tour 'Beyond the Barricade'. Rachel may be seen in the recent Dominic Cooper film 'The Devil's Double', playing Arabic singer Abdel Akle. Theatre roles in Malta include Lead Soloist in 'Simply Webber' (2011), Crystal in 'Little Shop of Horrors', Self/Co-director in 'With Friends Like These', Befana in 'La Befana', Cinderella in 'Into the Woods', Princess Bianca in pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty', Soloist in 'Voices 2002 and 2006' concerts. Rachel was a resident singer on one of Malta's most popular tv shows 'Tista' Tkun Int' ('It Could Be You') (2005) and a musical theatre finalist on Maltese TV's first edition of 'L-iSfida' ('The Challenge'). Rachel completed her degree in Psychology in 2007 and also gained her diploma in Child Psychology. This led her to teach singing and musical theatre at schools such as Italia Conti and Stage Coach (UK), and is currently teaching at Masquerade Theatre Arts School (Malta). Rachel also gives private singing tuition.
