A quaternion julia fractal, rendered with some early work-in-progress of a self-made renderer. The color is calculated from the interpolated surface normal at each intersection: color = (normal+(1,1,1))/2 The c parameter is linearly interpolated between a and b: a = -0.125 - 0.256i + 0.847j + 0.0895k b = 0.3145 + 0.8126i + 0.2125j - 0.6664k roughly ;) For more information on this refer to: 0) 1) 2)
