Description
On June 13, about 50 Occupy Los Angeles activists walked through the streets of downtown LA banging on pots and pans in solidarity with the Quebec student protests. Protesters in Quebec (Canada) have held "casserole" protests for over 100 days straight, demonstrating against increasing tuition and a new anti-protest law. Casserole - or cacerolazo- demonstrations originated in Chile as a non-violent form of protest. Solidarity actions have been planned in over 125 cities worldwide.
