Description
Our Walking Sticks are of the species Carausius Morosus, ie. Indian Walking Sticks. Walking sticks are quite easy insects to film because at daytime they either eat (seldom) or they try to act stick as their defense mechanism. Flip of the coin is that to some they might appear boring. Walking sticks are nocturnal creatures meaning, that they are active and mostly eat at night time. Our walking sticks are about 10 cm from head to tail and maybe even 15 cm when legs are extented. Most of the walking sticks are female and they lay eggs without needing a male to fertilize the eggs. As a matter of fact male sticks are rare.
