Description
Indiana Jones fleeing a falling boulder, or that lift in Dirty Dancing - what’s your favourite movie moment? At the latest Edinburgh Film Festival, Nokia, in partnership with Vice Magazine, gave you the chance to become a part of those segments of celluloid gold that define cinematic history. Nokia's 'Greatest Movie Moments' took place at the ESFF closing party on Saturday the 25th June 2011. Passers-by were asked to choose a film and re-enact their favourite scene alone or with friends in a video booth designed and hosted by video artists Ben + Lewis (www.benandlewis.com). Using the brand new Nokia N8 their actions were recorded in high definition, edited and projected live at the closing party accompanied by an electro remix of the best film scores Dolby Anol. Ben + Lewis brought the best of their skills to bear to bring each Movie Moment to life. From Mary Poppins to Jaws, Psycho to Jurassic Park, their background in music videos, commercials, art projects and fashion films ensured the movie moment were nothing short of Oscar worthy.
