Our favorite fashion mentor, designer and beauty Nicole Richie steps out in a gorgeous gown at the 2012 Fifi Awards in New York City. Richie is a sight to see just about every time she steps out—whether that be in her own line or someone elses and for this big night, the lucky designer was Emilio Pucci. The frock from the designers Spring 2012 collection was absolutely stunning on the star with the trendy high low hemline. The detailing on the dress was unreal—with intricate embroidery and a light sequin detail. The sheer sleeves we're a great way to keep the dark hue summer appropriate and the neckline was the perfect sexy touch. The long train gave the dress an elegant feel even though the hemline was sky high in the front to show off Richie's lean legs. For shoes, Richie kept it all in the same color scheme going with some all black Brian Atwood pumps and she carried a simple clutch from her own line House of Harlow 1960. And in the jewelry department, Richie of course did it big with all bold pieces. She wore two statement rings and stunning drop earrings with a pewter and gold color combo. And Richie's hair was spot on—she loves the top knot, but she really glammed it up for this occasion giving it some extra detailing and height. She left her now signature bangs down and straight—which is a look I really love on Nicole. And for her makeup—she went dramatic much like the dress with a dark smokey eye that really stood out which she paired with just a light lip gloss. I'm Brianna Baxter for Red.
