I was honored to film, a young man by the name of Hostage. He was a gifted poet, but really gifted as a slammer. He went on to the National Poetry Slam circuit. His team from the Nuyorican Poets Cafe beat out the best. I wound up doing his DVD, and incorporating his most memorable performances. If you ever get a chance check this young man out in person he will blow you away. After all I taught him everything I forgot. One day this young man will hopefully be featured on Jay Leno. Get his DVD or his compact disc. Excellent poet, also does some great beats.
