The slow-motion effect was achieved by shooting the video at a very high frame rate (60fps) as Mike mimed the song at 2 1/2 times its normal speed. This video shows actual footage of Mike performing to the song in real time as it's played 2 1/2 times faster than normal. This video looks like it's been comically sped up, but it honestly hasn't-- Mike is riding that musical bucking bronco like a rodeo champ. For a reality check, watch for cameos from Bennett the dog and Exowax engineer Mike Harris towards the end.
