Each year in May Birmingham's Sarehole Mill becomes Middle Earth in celebration of JRR Tolkien and the time he spent in the area as a young boy. The Mill and its surroundings had a major influence on the young Tolkien - and inspired many aspects of the book The Lord of The Rings. 2012 marks the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit's first publishing and fans flocked to pay their respects...
