Michael Uslan is best known as the originator and Executive Producer of the Batman movie series, starting with Tim Burton's 1989 film, and continuing to the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. Less well known is that the first Batman film was the culmination of a decade long effort by Uslan to bring a serious, dark version of the character to the big screen. Fans are already in heightened anticipation for the next Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, which is slated to premiere in July 2012 and promises to take the Dark Knight legacy even one step further.
