Description
Meet Jodi and Claire from the EYA (Environmental Youth Alliance) in this third short film in our Meet your Urban Farmer series. (The extended version of the interview can be found here vimeo.com/41988655). Jodi co-coordinates the EYA’s Skills Link program. She facilitates all sorts of skill building workshops, teaches permaculture principles and applications, and urban agriculture techniques. She also helps oversee EYA’s Urban Seeds program, and works with volunteers and staff to save and process seed from the EYA’s Youth Garden. Claire coordinates EYA's volunteer program and also runs the Urban Seeds program. She enjoys leading groups of volunteers in EYA’s gardens and introducing youth to issues of food security and urban agriculture. You can learn more about the EYA here - http://www.eya.ca If you've never had the opportunity to meet the wonderful array of passionate individuals behind the urban farming movement, and the wonderful food they grow for the community, stay tuned as we meet other urban farmers in the Vancouver Metro area. This will be an opportunity you won't want to miss. Support your local urban farmers (and local rural farmers of course), and know where your food comes from.
