WHAT IS MASKED? The Story The short, 30 minute thriller focuses on a young man, Alex Luna (Luis Rodriguez), being analyzed by a Criminal Psychologist (Lisa Armasino-Morris) after he and his family are attacked by a masked man. Alex had been seeing the masked man in his yard and even in his house a week before the incident. The Story Behind The Story Masked was written by Alex Williams four years ago, but never went into production. Recently, after being inspired by Ryan Connolly's 'TELL,' Alex came across Masked again and decided to rewrite it. It went from being a very simple, 12 page script to a complex 30 page script ABOUT US Random Axe Entertainment was created by Alex Wiliams when he started entering competitions on filmfights.com. His network grew and when they starting casting for "Epidemic" they found Luis Rodriguez, a bboy and a new actor. Luis quickly settled into Random Axe and has been a part ever since. What We Need & What You Get Our Goal The great thing about Indiegogo is the flexible budget option. Whether we raise only a couple thousand or quadruple our goal, this film wil still get made. The amount of donations, however, will directly effect the look, quality and possibly length of the film. At the bare minimum, thing we absolutely need are: One set that needs built. The more money we get the better this will look. A sound recordist and audio equipment. A lighting technitan with lights. Makeup effects. If we raise our goal we'll be able to: Pay most or all of the cast and crew. Make sure there is good food on set for cast and crew. Rent better equipment to get wonderful lighting An extra shooting day so we're not so rushed. If, by some miracle, we are able to raise $15,000 or more, we will actually be rewriting the script to be a feature length film that will include more characters, a deeper storyline, and a lot more scares.
