April 18, 1942: The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated Detroit 3-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final to complete the greatest comeback in NHL history. The Maple Leafs had trailed the series 3-0. Maple Leafs goaltender Turk Broda provided the heroics, allowing the Red Wings only seven goals in the last four games of the series.
