This 36 watt LED light is equipped with a night/day and motion sensor and produces illumination comparable to a 250 metal halide light without the high heat, fragile construction, or high energy costs of incandescent lighting. This light can be operated as a day/night sensing energy saving area light, or as a motion sensing security or general area light. The LED250-1227-OS is a wall pack style LED light from Magnalight designed to provide high output and reliable automatic operation. Equipped with a built in sensor that controls operation according to day/night cycles and movement, this light is well suited to use as a security light, outdoor area light, and as a general purpose indoor light that can sense when a room is occupied or unoccupied and operate the light accordingly. This 36 watt LED light produces a light beam that is longer and narrower than a standard Rab Floodzilla 250W Metal Halide (see comparison chart below). The beam will illuminate an area nearly twice the distance as a standard 250W metal halide flood light, but is 30% narrower than the metal halide flood. The Magnalight LED250-1227-OS draws only 36 watts @.30 amps at 120 VAC. The light assembly consists of twelve 3 watt LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce a total lumen output comparable to that of a 250 watt metal halide lamp. This LED wall pack is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment. The LED250-1227-OS consists of twelve three watt LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. Mounting hardware for the LED250-1227-OS consists of a stainless steel coated lamp bracket, wiring box, motion-day/night sensor, and a heavy gauge mounting post with 4 predrilled screw holes. The lamp assembly provides for 380/180 degrees of rotation to allow the user to position the unit as desired once mounted, and the sensor can be adjusted independently of the lamp for precise coverage. This unit comes assembled and ready to mount and is ideal for mounting to flat surfaces such as walls and under eaves or overhangs on the corners of buildings. This light is designed to operate with voltages ranging from 110 VAC to 277 VAC, providing versatile power connection options and the ability to run the unit with standard 120-220 VAC voltages. The LED250-1227-OS provides an efficient and highly durable alternative to standard incandescent and metal halide wall pack lights that produces a more far reaching beam while using only a fraction the power. With the LED250-1227-OS there is no warm up period, the light can be cycled on and off without any reduction in lamp life, there is no glass or filament to shatter or break, and the solid state LED design provides 50,000 hours of operation. This light will operate according to movement and light levels, making it ideal for use as a security light, wall pack down lighting, upwards lighting, monuments, marinas, docks, warehouses, billboards, and parking lots just to name a few examples.
