Actress Lexi Ainsworth, General Hospital attends red carpet premeiere of Family Time talks about here experience on the soap opera and 12-hour filming days. In 2011 Ainsworth won an Emmy for "Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series - Young Actress" for: "General Hospital" She was also nominated this year. Born Alexandra Ainsworth in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to a dentist father and a school teacher mother, Lexi began dancing on stage by age 6 with the local ballet company. This lead to her appearance in the professional theater production of The Wizard of Oz where she performed as a Lullabye League munchkin. After other musical theater performances she won the lead role of Scout in the Actors Equity production of To Kill a Mockingbird. But it was after attending a film camp in New York that she developed an interest in film and television acting . Furthering this pursuit she attended an acting boot camp in Los Angeles where she caught the attention of an agency who sent her out on her first national commercial audition which she subsequently shot for Barbie. After other commercials and industrials she acquired the lead role of Caroline in the AFI short film Caroline Crossing and Grace Budd, the child lead in the independent film The Gray Man. She has also co-stared in the NBC television series Medical Investigation with Kelly Williams and guest-stared then recurred as Tille on WB's Gilmore girls. Most recently she won the role of Molly in Universal's Feature film Wild Child where she plays Emma Roberts little sister. Lexi was attending the Premiere of FAMILY TIME: On August 2, 2012, TV's hit series Family Time Star Angell Conwell (Bounce Network), will turn 29, but friends, cast and crew, along with her family, no pun intended, couldn't wait, and celebrated her birthday at the Crust Pizza Bar in Studio City Tuesday, July 24, 2012. It was the red carpet premier celebration of her new series, 'Family Time', created by Bentley Kyle Evans, starring Omar Gooding, Angell Conwell and Jayla Calhoun. Angell, is also known for her role as attorney Leslie Michaelson on the number on e daytime drama, 'The Young and the Restless', was joined by friends, family, cast and crew to screen this new comedy series inside the famous Crust pizza bar in Studio City, CA. Family Time is about the life and times of The Stallworths, a working class African American family who scratches off a lottery ticket and to middle class overnight. "It's TV imitating life of a blue collar family, said Bentley Kyle Evans."
