Kailash Manasarovar yatra - an adventurous journey in Religion & Spirituality [Free Tibet] 02 of 02

Description
A video presentation showcasing the journey undertaken by a group of travelers from Maharashtra to Mount Kailash & Lake Manasarovar, commonly known as the Kailash Manasarovar yatra. This adventurous journey of faith & religion is undertaken by scores of Hindus & Jains each year. Included in the video are useful information & experiences of the travelers who were part of the journey. The video is a helpful guide for those who wish to embark on the journey themselves. Though the narration is in Marathi, if you do not understand the language, the visual beauty of the journey should itself make the video worth a watch. In order to reach the destination, one has to travel to Tibet, currently under the illegal occupation of China. China, defying belief & credibility, calls it Tibet Autonomous Region. However, in reality, Chinese-occupied Tibet would be a better description of the place. China's tyranny & oppression on the people of Tibet continues, even as it expands its global footprint, threatening the peace & stability of the regions it has made its presence felt. In order to suppress rebellion & legitimate aspiration of freedoms of indigenous Tibetans, the Communist Party of China has been artificially relocating Han Chinese from mainland China and re-settling them in occupied-Tibet, thereby forcing a change of demography in the region. As a result of such large-scale settlement of people, Tibetans are on way to becoming minority in their own land. This is causing the rich, indigenous Tibetan culture & practices to slowly recede from daily life in Tibet, being replaced by that followed by Han Chinese. With an expanding military, smaller neighboring countries are feeling the heat of China's hegemonic intentions, vise-a-vis its territorial claims over regions it fancies but currently rightfully & legitimately administered by other countries.
