Abrams and Edgar Wright join forces on a sci-fi blockbuster? We have no friggin' idea, but we're really excited anyway! J.J Abrams is the guy who brought you 'Lost,' 'Mission Impossible: 3,' and the 'Star Trek' movie to end all 'Star Trek' movies (unless you count next year's sequel). You know Edgar Wright as the director of 'Scott Pilgrim', 'Shaun of the Dead,' and the recently confirmed 'Ant-Man' movie. What could be better than a sci-fi project produced by Abrams and co-written and directed by Wright? Absolutely nothing, and we say that with the utmost confidence despite having no clue what the movie's about. As with any film coming out of Abrams's production company, Bad Robot, story details are extremely scarce. And by that we mean the only info they've released is the title, 'Collider.' Deadline reports that the script will be co-written by Wright and Mark Protosevich, who had a hand in 'Thor' and also penned the big-screen adaptations of 'I Am Legend' and 'Mass Effect.' Aaaaand that's all we know so far! Still, we feel that's more than enough info to fuel some rampant speculation down in the comments. Will Edgar and J.J. make a good team? Does Protosevich have the writing chops to play with the big boys? And what the heck will 'Collider' be about? (the Large Hadron Collider, anyone?) Let us know what you think, and keep it locked on ClevverMovies to stay in the loop! I'm Dana Ward, thanks for watching!
