And finally, if Sigourney Weaver is to be believed, and we have no reason not to - then Avatars 2, 3 and 4 will shoot back to back, Lord of the Rings-style. Director James Cameron already made it clear back in May that he has no interest in doing anything else but Avatar sequels from now on...which totally sucks for Tom Arnold, who's been desperately lobbying for a True Lies sequel. Bummer. But, considering Avatar is the highest-grossing film of all-time, it completely makes sense that Hollywood would turn it into a franchise and destroy any integrity the original may have had.
