A day before the L-1011 carrier aircraft departed California's Vandenberg Air Force Base to ferry the Orbital Sciences air-launched Pegasus rocket and its NASA X-ray space telescope, NuSTAR, to the Kwajalein Atoll in the central Pacific, reporters got a tour of the jet. Here is an interview with pilot Bill Weaver, co-pilot Ebb Harris and flight engineer Bob Taylor from the cockpit.
