Nine journalism students from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign traveled to Turkey for three weeks in May 2012, under the direction of Professor Nancy Benson of the Journalism Department at the College of Media. The group explored Muslim issues and Turkish culture. This documentary features five of the students' reports. Topics include Islam in Turkey (Caroline Pahl), LGBT in Turkey (Taylor Smith), Fashion in Turkey (Lindsay Prossnitz), Domestic Abuse in Turkey (Saira Anwer), and Journalism in Turkey (Latifah Al-Hazza).
