Description

'I Don't Have Enough FAITH to Be an ATHEIST' by Frank Turek and Norman Geisler (www.ImpactApologetics.com). C.S. Lewis was an Atheist once and he thought evil disproved God until he realized that evil actually pointed to God because evil pointed to good and you wouldn't know good unless you knew God. In fact, here's what Lewis said, 'My argument against God [when I was an atheist] was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust?' For a more complete treatment of the problem of evil see Norman Geisler, BAKER ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS. See also Peter Kreeft, MAKING SENSE OUT OF SUFFERING.
