Maw Taw Lu school, northern Thailand. A remote school where the parents of kids at the school farm for supermarkets in the west but can't afford to feed their own children. Malnutrition is common amongst schoolchildren in this part of the world, forcing kids out of school and in to the sex industry or sweat shops. In 2012 Thai Children's Trust has pledged to put food on the plates of 1000 starving Burmese child refugees who have escaped the brutal civil war and now struggle to survive on the Thai/Burma border.
