Description
Bishop Kallistos Ware, Orthodox Bisoph of Diokleia, shares his thoughts on a Thomas Merton quote taken from Conjectures of a Guilty Bystander which begins, "at the center of our being..." Bishop Ware spoke at an event hosted by The Merton Institute for Contemplative Living in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 16, 2001. In this talk, he shares that the heart is the spiritual center of the total human person. He compares and contrasts Orthodox beliefs with those of Thomas Merton.
