Mayor Cory Booker celebrates the grand opening of the Genesis Clinton Hill Apartments, a new 56-unit apartment building established in partnership with HELP USA and Make It Right, which will provide permanent, affordable housing for Newark veterans and low-income families. The building incorporates green and sustainable features in the overall building design and includes a rooftop garden for growing fresh fruits and vegetables. Residents of Genesis Clinton Hill Apartments will also enjoy computer rooms, a fitness center, meeting rooms, and community service space for programs to serve veterans, other tenants, and members of the local community.
