I do not own the copyright to this recording. This video is for historical and educational purposes. Little is known about Harvey Hill, but at the time of this recording he was in late 30's and living in Ypsilanti, MI. Hill had recorded one single for the Detroit label SRC around 1952. Willie Dixon knew Hill and submitted a taped recording to Victoria Spivey who was impressed with Hill and wanted him to record for her label. After making the journey to Chicago, he only recorded two songs. Nothing else is known about him.
