Description
Footage of the members of the 4th Kandak, 2nd Zone Afghan Border Police who don't wait around for insurgents to detonate bombs, they find the explosives before they explode. In the past six months this proactive unit has conducted an impressive 945 missions. While some of these missions are with their US partners, Co. C, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, the majority of the 4-2 Kandak's operations are planned and executed independently. As a result of their self starting efforts, the unit has preemptively found 85 improvised explosive devices.
