This poem addresses the final inevitability of even the realised sages to save the world from the utter degeneration that is taking place now -- and to leave it in darkness for the majority of people who simply see this life as a platform for seeking pleasure rather than the true nature of the unavoidable Karma that binds us all who are born into this world of suffering and illusion. As Buddha and all the sages and Gods of eternal Dharma have preached, the only purpose of human birth is to fulfil ones Dharma --(duty) - that one is born with due to previous Karma, -- to recognise the Maya (illusion) that surrounds us -- and to seek liberation from this world where happiness and pleasure are relatively transitory.
