Chief Justice Iftkhar Mohammad Chaudhry has directed the Defence Secretary to recover missing persons before the court issues an order and has sought a response from the Federal Government in the Balochistan Law and Order case on June 1st. The political administration has awarded a 30 year prison sentence to Dr Shakil Afridi for the offence of spying for the United States. The Federal Cabinet has formed a four member committee under the chair of Amin Fahim to probe the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi.
