He served in the Army for two years before moving to Hinesville, Georgia, where he started rapping with a group called Team Affiliate. The group was offered a record deal by Ruff Ryders in 2003. However, Team Affiliate broke up and Geda moved to Germany, where he started his solo career. He was featured on records with Loquaze, The Attics and DJ Vision One. In 2004 Geda Lion released his first mixed tape in Germany called "Welcome to Da Lion Den." He then linked up with German producer DunnHo Landrock who had heard some of Geda's music on Myspace. DunnHo and Geda Lion started working on songs like "Move On" and "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." Geda had to move back to the United States in 2007 but that did not stop them from working together. Dunnho visited the states many times to work on music in the little barn behind Geda's house. You could hear helicopters flying overhead on the recordings. It was hot, wet and dark in this barn, but that didn't stop them at all. Dunnho made trips from Germany to Alabama so many times, he was once even detained by homeland security because he had been visiting so frequently and with so much equipment they thought he could be a terrorist. Half of the album was recorded in Germany and half in Alabama. However, a month before the album was to be released the record label went broke. Dunnho then started his own company Musixcard and sold it after two years. He founded a music production company and did remixes for Sportfreunde Stiller, Emilbulls and Rufus Martin; and wrote commercial music for Maybach, BMW, Microsoft, Pro7, Kunert, and more. Meanwhile, Geda moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and linked up with Lead Alliance Music Group. He completed two more mixed tapes "Da Lion King" and "Da Lion King 2." Never giving up on his dream, Geda continued to make music and videos. His latest mixed tape, "B.A.D. Born a Dreamer," was released in April 2012; mixed by Dunnho. Geda and Dunnho decided to finish their album and worked on six new tracks. They met in Brooklyn, New York, for the first time in almost four years, for video shooting. The whole crew was arrested on a roof in the Brooklyn projects, because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. "The Hustle The Struggle The Outcome" It was a long and hard way to finish this album. Geda and Dunnho put a lot of passion, patience and energy into this project to make it happen. But they now know, nothing and nobody can stop them from making music.
