On Wednesday, one of the troops in Afghanistan who regularly corresponds with my favorite radio talk show (Armstrong & Getty) called in shortly after a firefight in which he lost multiple friends. Americans need to hear (and share) what Ben has to say. Understand he is absolutely telling the truth. We are completely directionless in Afghanistan, ignorant of the bad guys, clueless about how to properly prosecute a war against an enemy ideology (Islam), and our government has yet to even come to terms with the basic connection between what Ben called "born again muslims" and the endless bloody war of terrorism waged in the name of Islam and Jihad. We must fight back and defeat Islam. That is a requirement of survival. But, we aren't fighting the war anywhere near rationally or effectively at this point. Bring the troops home until there is a legitimate plan to defeat Islamofascism and a set of realistic goals the troops can understand, believe in, and accomplish.
