Fashion stylists, makeup artists and photographers gathered right outside the venue anticipating the show like never before. Makeup artist Terry Barber explains the dramatic Egyptian eyeliner representing a punk/rock style. "I think it's about redoing the smoky eye and making it more young and more fresh", he says. FashionTV was right there to catch up with the Italian duo designers Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti. "From this collection, we drew inspiration from Joan Jett, it's a very rock n' roll collection with a lot of contaminations from the sports world, therefore rugby shirts, accessories, matched with very rock outfits", Gigliotti tells us. The models backstage sported rocker-spirit attire such as fringes, leather, long slits, punk prints, studded pumps, metallic netting, bomber volumes, oversized sweatshirts, strapless dresses and masculine jackets. "We have sexy silhouettes, sexy wearability, it's more masculine," designer Maurizio Modica explains.
