Les Misérables - More Miserable Sequence: At the End of the Play (At the end of the day), I Dreamed a Show (I dreamed a dream), Bring it Down (Bring him home), Empty Songs, Empty Lyrics (Empty Chairs at empty tables), Do You Hear the People Sing? This is from the Forbidden Broadway album Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act. Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act is the fifth incarnation of Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway. All the parody lyrics were written by Gerard Alessandrini. This version was co-directed by Mr. Alessandrini and his long time collaborator Phillip George. Because it features none of the original 1982 Forbidden Broadway cast members, it is labeled "The Unoriginal Cast Recording". It was recorded in December 1998 and released in 1999. Cast members: Bryan Batt, Lori Hammel, Edward Staudenmayer and Kristine Zbornik. On this album, the cast is spoofing shows like Chicago, The Lion King, Ragtime, Titanic, Jekyll and Hyde, and Footloose. They also take stabs at personalities like Rudolph Giuliani, Ann Miller, Julie Taymor, Bebe Neuwirth, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
