Tom Higgins is known as the dean of NASCAR Journalism. He says it's because he's been covering motorsports since the cars were held together with duct tape and baling wire. Raised in the wilds of Yancey County, Tom was a columnist for the Charlotte Observer for more than 30 years. He probably knows more about racing, fishing and the great outdoors than anyone in North Carolina. And he sure knows how to tell a story! Tom Higgins especially likes to tell stories about the world of NASCAR racing in the Carolinas.
