Applying the 2nd coat of paint, to the wall patch, is the easy part of the project.......but what about the clean up & putting the paint away part?.....eeeerrrrrgggg. "Let's just throw the rest of the paint away, can't we? There's only a little bit of paint left anyway. Besides, that last little drib of paint will dry out in the bottom of the can, before we use it again, so I'm just not going to bother saving it!" Ah....I just spoke to "joe" & he said "not on my watch"! He wants you to save that paint. He has a special way of going about things & he will show you how you are going to save that last little bit of paint, for your next wall paint/patch project. He went on to say that that can of paint was the original paint for that wall & anytime you need to touch up the wall, you will have that little bit of paint to work with & your paint will match right up. He followed that up by saying even if you take the paint can to the paint store, if they try to match it up, it might not be 100% perfect so next time you need to touch up your walls, the paint might stick out like a sore thumb. That "joe"....always thinking.
