We headed out early this morning (6/9/12) for a walk at Massachusetts Audubon Society Waseeka in Hopkinton Massachusetts. It was a beautiful morning. We saw a Feisty Garter Snake on the Pitch Pine Trail. I love Snakes.. he let me know that he was not happy that I was trying to make a video. We then saw a Northern Water Snake basking in the sun along the edge of the water. Waseeka Directions: http://www.massaudubon.org/Nature_Connection/Sanctuaries/Waseeka/index.php Take the Mass. Turnpike (Rt I-90) to exit 11 (Rt I-495). Follow Rt I-495 south to exit 21 (West Main Street/Hopkinton). Continue toward Hopkinton Center, where road becomes Rt 135. Follow Rt 135 east for approximately 2 miles and take a right onto Clinton Street (after Weston Nurseries). The sanctuary is 2.1 miles ahead on the left.
