Why is everyone just sitting around waiting to be told it is time to stand up and stop the American police-state? Let me make it easy for you: It is time to stand up when the police start arresting 5 year old children. The 1st and 2nd Amendments are not your rights, but rather your responsibility. The 2nd reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." This indicates that the Militia are responsible for defense and security, not the military or police; suggesting that the US was designed to function like Switzerland. Men in arms were for defense only, not for conquest, nation building, or forced morality. So do not shuck your responsibility. Everyone must have a hand in it so we all know to only use it when properly motivated by the truth. Once the 2nd amendment is taken away, the 1st won't be far behind. So who put the the idiots in control? Well, we did. It may sound contradictory, but you must FIGHT for peace everyday. The Solution: Christ's simple math - The power of PEACE is exponential. Matthew 12:25 (KJV) And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. OBVIOUS example: If you have 100 people and YOU are one of them, and everyone is out for their "SELF", you can have nothing but violence and war, with the strong victimizing and oppressing the weak; the rich doing the same to the poor; and the clever doing likewise to the "not so clever". If, however, you have the same 100 people and YOU are one of them, and EVERY single one of them puts EVERYBODY else first, and themself SECOND, then every single person, including you, gains 99 times. It will ONLY work, if EVERY single person does it, otherwise, the one who doesn't, steals everything from the others (Sound Familiar?). So far, this had NEVER been realized by man, so there has NEVER been PEACE on Earth. Now see how N = the number of people. Above it was 100. And N-1 or the spreading ripple of PEACE = 99. Now change N = 7 BILLION! NOW THE RIPPLE IS A HUGE WAVE!!! Now see why He is the "Prince of Peace"? We have grown so accustomed to the conditions under which we live that we take them for granted: Unemployment, poverty, disease, insanity and war, we dismiss with a shrug of the shoulders as being 'normal' and part of the 'scheme of things'. But let us make no mistake; they are NOT in any way part of God's scheme of things. On the contrary, they are the DIRECT RESULT of OUR OWN WILLFUL CHOICE OF EVIL. Think of EVIL as a CANCER. IT SPREADS AND BRINGS DEATH TO HUMANS. And what is Evil? Where may it be found, and how is it to be fought? For the answers to these questions we must study that great Guide-Book which God has provided for this very purpose. Here, and here only, can we discover, not only the cause of all our troubles, but also the remedy for them. I know what your thinking. Just another "Bible thumper".
