Description
From the rare CDr "Heart of the Congos (Original Mix)". This CDr features the original mix of the 'Heart of the Congos' album, released in 1977 on the Black Art label and pressed in very small numbers in Jamaica. Every subsequent release to date (excluding this CDr) features the second mix, a more 'dense' mix which features much more effects and over-dubs. This CDr itself came from a now defunct Dutch private label called Corn-Fed Productions. Anything they released for their members was very limited and rare, but it is all very high quality stuff. From what I heard this the music on CDr was mastered from 3 different copies, of the about 500 that were ever pressed... dang.
