A car thief in New Jersey returned the car he stole, only to return a few days later and steal the same car along with some cash from the home where the car was parked, according to local police. He then returned the car a second time, parking it down the street from the owner's home. After having their car stolen and returned twice in the same week, the homeowners were suspicious when they heard a noise in the middle of the night and confronted the burglar who then fled the scene. Police have yet to find the culprit, but they have a composite sketch and may have reason to believe the incidents are related. One thief in Washington got a little greedy when he broke into a car dealership and took 60 car keys and a 2003 Hummer. The police were able to track down the perpetrator within two hours and recover the Hummer and all of the stolen keys.
