Captain America 2 - Exclusive Sneak Peek: Now it's official, Marvel Studios announced the release date of the highly anticipated sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger. The working title is Captain America 2 and it will be released in the U.S. on April 4, 2014. As stated by the actor Neal McDonough, filming could begin even this year. We also know for sure that Chris Markus and Stephen McFeely will be the writers. The Yankee hero will be palyed again by the handsome Chris Evans, who in a recent interview revealed some of the plot details: Captain America 2 will be more of a political thriller and the story will begin just after the end of The Avengers. The First Avenger will continue his collaboration with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. Chris Evans, in the exclusive interview, said that there will be probably some new characters in the sequel. It would be a great idea to introduce Ant-Man, as rumored recently, and maybe see him teamed up with his unforgettable partner, Falcon. The director's name is still a mystery since it's not sure at all if Joe Johnston will be back behind the camera. There are other possible candidates like George Nolfi - director and writer of The Adjustment Bureau and Anthony and Joseph Russo, directors and producers of the NBC series - Community.
