One of the world's largest food chains has launched some new summer additions to their menu, including the new bacon ice cream sundae. Only available for a limited time, the vanilla soft serve ice cream topped with caramel, fudge and of course bacon was launched in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year and contains 61 grams of sugar, 18 grams of fat and 510 calories. Burger King is looking to boost its sales and change its image with a new slogan "Taste is King" which replaces the old "Have it Your Way." Perhaps Burger King's bacon sundae was inspired by Denny's Maple Bacon Sundae, which includes maple syrup poured over ice cream and "a generous sprinkle of our diced hickory-smoked bacon." Jack in the Box released a bacon milk shake that does not contain any real bacon, but rather bacon-flavored syrup mixed with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream with a cherry on top.
