Meet the second most famous Pitt: Brad's look-alike brother Doug spoofs his ordinary life in hilarious new ad The latest Hollywood celebrity secret is out. Brad Pitt's brother Doug has an excellent sense of humour. The look-alike brother of one of Hollywood's biggest stars is headlining a comic new Virgin mobile advertising campaign, which is already a runaway success. Brad stunned fans when he took his lookalike brother Doug to the premiere of Ocean's Twelve back in 2004, but is said to have always had a close relationship with his younger sibling. In the video made for Australia by ad firm Euro RSCG, Doug plays a tongue-in-cheek ordinary Jo who just wants to be given his own time in the spotlight. 'This is Doug Pitt,' begins the video for the campaign. 'The second most famous Pitt in his family.' The video, which has already gone viral, shows Doug standing at his front door and welcoming viewers into his home. 'This is the family living room, where I usually don't get to pick what's on the TV,' deadpans Brad's younger brother. Doug sas his wife and kids rule that particular domain. He then moves on to his 'man room', where he taps his foot to music blasting through a chunky set of headphones and explains: 'My family doesn't have my appreciation for classic Seventies rock.' Next up is Doug in his kitchen, wearing an apron and chopping up vegetables: 'I consider myself to be a little bit of a gourmet,' he says while making lasagne. In his home office, Doug waxes lyrical about the brilliant features of his colour printer scanner. He then goes on to say that he likes 'all sports', segueing into a shot of him constructing a bird house in his tool shed. In the next shot, Doug shoots for a basketball hoop outside on his driveway - and misses. He then starts up his lawn mower, before moving on to washing his own car - a very humble looking white family van. 'I like this car,' says Doug, poker faced. 'It's sporty, it's stylish!' This is the first celebrity endorsement for Doug, who might not be a movie star, but doesn't appear to be doing too badly either - if this is indeed Doug's real home. In real life, Brad's younger sibling is the owner of ServiceWorld Computer Center in Springfield, Missouri, where he lives with his family. The accomplished younger Pitt was at one time the chairman of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. He also has a real estate company and has also had some success as a photojournalist. Doug finishes the Virgin video by throwing a stick in a park with his chocolate Labrador as a voice over tells us: 'His brother lives the life of a Hollywood A-lister. Doug's life is a little different.' The last shot is of Doug doing the most ordinary of tasks: brushing his teeth. 'Virgin mobile believes in a fair go for all, and want to give Doug a taste of his brother's lifestyle,' continues the voice over. The campaign asks viewers to go to a Virgin mobile website, and show Doug some 'like'. Doug has admitted in the past that sharing similar looks to a Hollywood superstar does have its disadvantages. Asked how often he gets mistaken for his older brother, Doug said: 'Three times a week for the last twenty-something years.
