Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott was joined by Borough President James P. Molinaro, City Councliman James Oddo, McKee High School Principal Sharon Henry, and Staten Island Technical High School Principal Vincent Maniscalco to announce that the school will receive $7 million in improvements to its sports fields and track over the next 2 years, as part of an ongoing initiative to renovate and improve public high school playing fields across the Borough. The news was met with excitement from Staten Island Tech students, as well as McKee students, who play on joint sports teams using the facilities at Staten Island Tech.
