Record Label The:Hours are recording and launching a 'musical petition' as part of the 'tck tck tck' campaign for climate justice, aiming for a positive outcome in Copenhagen this December. President of the Global Humanitarian Forum, Mr Kofi Annan has teamed up with Havas Worldwide to launch a movement to enforce the right amount of pressure onto the politicans who will be making the key decisions in Copenhagen this December. This teaser is the first public preview of the song that will be the soundtrack to this movement. It is a cover of 1987 song 'Beds are Burning' by Midnight Oil. Top talent have contributed their voices to the track and participate in the music video. Many have already contributed, and more will be recorded before the track is released on October 1st at Paris Fashion Week. Some might be aware this is an Eighties classic, taken from the album 'Diesel and Dust', and originally was a political protest song urging the Western World to 'give the land back' to native Australians. Of course the 'tck tck tck' movement carries a different message, but maintains a similar sentiment. We are natives of this Earth, and we must work to protect it.
