Visit the official site at http://theamazingspiderman.com The first official teaser from the Spider-man reboot schedule to be released July 3 2012 was released, now titled The Amazing Spider-Man. Directed by Marc Webb under the Sony studio. This is a parody of that movie. Starring: Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as Peter Parker aka Spider-man, Emma Stone (Easy A, Zombieland) as Gwen Stacy, and Rhys Ifans (Hannibal Rising) as the villain (Possibly the Lizard). Story Line: Based on Marvel Comics' superhero character, this is a story of Peter Parker who is a nerdy high-schooler. He was orphaned as a child, bullied by jocks, and confused with his love life. But his life changes in a way no one could have imagined. Peter acquires a muscle-bound physique, clear vision, ability to cling to surfaces and crawl over walls, shooting webs from his wrist...but another turn in reached in his journey when his new found powers put those he loves in danger. Well of course this is just a parody of something that the movie will be nothing like, but after so much speculation of what this reboot will be, I decided to make my own trailer for the movie. Not many of us expected this franchise to be rebooted so soon, especially when the last installment (even if it was critically blasted) made so much money. But after unspecified differences and conflicts, Sam Raimi left the project, and with him all the stars of the previous movies including Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and the rest of the pack. Yet, it should be interesting to see what Marc Webb brings to the table, along with new star of the movie who recently appeared as the co-founder of Facebook, in the critically acclaimed and Oscar buzzed The Social Network. We'll just have to wait and see...for now just enjoy this and take it as the joke it is.
