Alice is a short film that starts by a simply though: today, which is the difference by sicks and healthies? Moreover, sicks people -- in this case mad people -- are really the ones present in mental hospitals? Alice relates as a so-called mad woman invents a real life each Sunday in order to reassure woman who lives with her in the same room.She plays the real life of clinic's visitors; the right and real one. We look at healthly's world from a sick mad woman face that at the end it will be not so deformed. Her stare is a cosmic light of profound sensibility. The mad are like the advance guard of human sensibility. If the best of the sane play on the knifes edge, the mad are no loger capable of setting the scene for the daily pantomime. They don't know how to run behind nothing. They don't know how to work for work, study for study. They don't know how to live for the simple fact of being alive. This is the reason for closing them up, the high level of sensibility in this world is not a value but a weight. How would you feel to realise, that in every second -- in every instant of your life - that this big movement, rush, nervousness is nothing but a monstrous theater to hide the nothing? STEFANO ANSELMI, BIOGRAPHY Stefano Anselmi born in Milan on July 1974. After Secondary School specializing in Scientific subjects, he gives his contribution to Publishing Company "Il Castoro" writing essay about Tornatore, Rubini and Pietrangeli included on book "Patchwork" -- History of Italian Cinema by Countries by Giulio Martini. In 2002 he works as First Assistant Director in the tv-movie "Sospetti 2", produced by Sergio Silva and directed by Gianni Lepre. In 2003 works as director for Poste Italiane in the commercial film "In Store Marketing" linked to the restructuring of the Italian Post Offices. In 2004 he is First Assistant Director of Carlo Vanzina for the film "In questo mondo di ladri" produced by Cecchi Gori Group, and in 2005 always First Assistant Director of Raffaele Mertes and in the tv-movie produced by Mediavivere for Mediatrade "Questa è la mia Terra". He has directed the following documentaries:"Una visita in fabbrica" and "Opinioni di un Clown" On January 2007 he is First Assistant Director in the tv-movie "Il mondo delle cose senza nome" directed by T. Aristarco produced by IIF, and in the same year, he is First Assistant Director of Luca Biglione for "L'ultimo della classe" and Sergio Martino for "L'allenatore nel pallone 2". In 2008 he is Director of Short Film "Alice" (35mm) produced by Movie Factory, which parteciped in the festivals of Athens (Drama Film Festival), Istanbul, Rome (RIFF), Aubagne (Marseille), Rimini (Amarcort) and "I've seen Film Festival" of Rutger Hauer (Prix of Italian President of the Republic). Starting from February 2008 he enter in the Team of Director related to serial "Agrodolce" produced by Einstein Multimedia for Rai Fiction and Rai Educational. In 2009 he works as director & screenwriter for the commercial Sda Bocconi, School of management.
